Construct a Title Page that Reflects the Contents of the Wiki Page
- Include an image for visual appeal
- Include an overview paragraph that describes what this page is about.
Reflection of Categories:
- On the main page, each category will have a brief description that describes the collective technologies.
- Within each category page, there will be a fuller, more detailed description, in addition to descriptions of the relevant technologies.
- Links to 2 or 3 papers will be included, that provide a summary of the article.
- For demonstrated technologies, a separate page will be created that elaborates on the learning environment. Also included will be some screen captures that illustrates the interface.
- Links will also be included to the home pages for each of the technologies.
Completion of Categories
- Categories that are not fully developed will be completed. For those that are necessarily works in progress, this will be indicated via a text box so that incoming students will be clear on the status of the page.
- Links will be included to the homepages of researchers who were involved in the development of educational technologies.
Additions to Others' Wiki Pages
- Review and supplement information on the other course topics
- Where paper summaries were included, make sure that they are complete, and highly readable.
- Review summaries so that key researchers, foundational theories, and other important issues are clearly outlined and summarized.
- Include links to my own wiki website in the pages constructed by my colleagues.
Other Additions:
- Consider what an incoming student would want or need from this resource. How would the use it? What would be their approach?
- Perhaps include information or suggestions for a particular part of their project.
- Make the wiki as useful as possible for incoming students.
